My main brother-in-art Joel VDK and I had a show booked at Magazine gallery. We wanted to do 'paste ups'. But how to sell them? The entire point of a paste up unlike a canvas or frame is once it's on a wall, it's not coming down. Many, many hours and days later of cutting, sawing, drilling and glueing we had created a richly layered temporary wall which could be divided and sold in convenient panels.

It was cool, but I still have nightmares about photocopiers and scissors.
